Fall in Arizona is a very special time. With the change in the weather also comes an increase in activity. Not just for we two legged creatures, now able to turn off our coolers and swing open our doors to the fresh air, but also the four legged neighbors. Elk and deer are much more visible as they dance along the side of the road, looking for the right time to cross. They enter the rut, a passionate time of competition for courtship rights. Smaller creatures scurry, busily adding fat and storage for the upcoming winter. And birds migrate, with ducks and geese giving us a beautiful serenade as they move across the sky toward their winter quarters.
When you step outside in the morning, take a moment before jumping into your car and heading towards work or school. Take a deep breath of sweet air. Look at the beautiful sky, whether textured with clouds, or clear and blue, and shake away the stresses of the day.
You live in a beautiful place!
