Well, I completed my 65 Paintings in 65 Days challenge and came in quite short of my goal. But it was my first time out and though there were a lot of personal challenges that contributed to not meeting the number goal, I learned a lot.
I learned that I can paint in a loud room full of people while chatting with potential customers at the same time!
I learned I can complete some nice little works in a very short time if I put up the "Do Not Disturb" sign.
I learned I should probably stick to a single theme with my works (which is a challenge in of itself!)
I learned it's okay not to make the mark every time, as long as I grew from the experience.
And I learned I have a lot of folks out there supporting me with kind words including "You can do it!"
This was the last piece of my personal challenge, a pretty lavender elk with his full winter mane. For some reason this photo came out much yellower though the second image is much closer to the original.
I will be starting a new challenge in 2017, a little less time constrained, but with larger pieces produced. Look for an announcement for it in the near future!
